do you take Gina's class? Completely make it up. like a play. You're Dr. Mack. You graduated from the Yale School of Medicine in 1991, with a PhD in genetics. you have been practicing ever since. You could list several different hospitals where you've "worked" at before. When you write it remember that it's not the most important part. Any help??

ahh sweet  most of the stuff I was stuck on was that first part
and nah, haven't ever had Gina lol, didn't go to Metro freshman year, and never had a drama class before that either xD it looks fun though

Nathan, this is what I have so far. Most of it is just what Angie suggested.
Hello, my name is Doctor Walter Mack. I graduated from the Yale school of Medicine in 2008, with a PHD in Genetics. I have been in this field for many years. I’ve worked at a number of hospitals throughout the years.
We performed a Amniocentesis test on your unborn child. The purpose of the test is to detect certain types of birth defects in your unborn child. After giving anesthetics, a needle is inserted into the amniotic sack. Then, we draw extracts liquid away from the fetus for testing. After, we enlarge the chromosomes, and it is examined under a microscope.

but before that i've worked at a number of hospitals throughout the

We have performed a CVS test on your unborn child.
The purpose of the test is to determine chromosomal or genetic
disorders in the fetus . It entails getting a sample of the chorionic
villus and testing it . This test can be done ealier between 11 & 12
weeks of preganancy althrough some testing centers will do it late
as 13 weeks . The efficacy of this test us that you can have it done
earlier . The drawbacks are there is no real consenus on the actual
risk of miscarrige due to CVS . Although it's often estimated to
between one in 100 and 200 which is higher than the usual estimates
for amniocentesis .
The chromosomes are organized structures of DNA and
protein that is found in cells . It's a single piece of DNA that contains
many genes , regulatory elements and other nuclectide sequences.
The relationship of chromosomes to genes is when cell reproduction
occurs less in growth or tissue repair is therefore necessary to reproduce
chromosomes in such a way . Chromosomes are found in the body of
individual units called a cell . The body has different cells such as skin
cells , liver , etc . The normal numbers of human chromosomes in 23
pairs . The chromosomes are divided from mother & father and
passes onto the offspring .
Mutations are changes to the nucleotide sequences of the
genetic material of an organism . The mutations occur in the DNA
of individual cells at sometime during a persons life. Accquired
mutations in some cells other than sperm and egg cells cannot
be passed on to the next generation . Mutations may also occur
in a single cell within an early embryo . As all the cells divide during
growth & development , the individual will have some cells with the
mutation & some cells without the genetic change . Also the two types
of mutations are insertion and duplication .
A karotype test is the characteristic chromosome complement
of a eukaryote species . The basic numnber of chromosome in the
somatic cells of an individual or a species is called the stomatic
number . A karyotype is done to determine whether a chromosome
defect is preventing a woman from becoming pregnant are causing
miscarriages. A Karyotype can offer is the arrangement and structure
of chromosomes .
